Installation instructions for the MY02 shifter for the P93

To remove the original shifter :
Push down the shifter boot on the left side and slide the boot out of the console.
Pull the original shifter upwards.
The C4 shifters have a rubber center, however just like the P93 alu/leather shifter, the MY02 shifter doesn't have this rubber center.

To install the MY02 shifter for the P93 :

Slide the new shifter over the shaft.
If you want the top of the shifter to be on the same height as the original shifter, then you have to push the shifter all the way down and bring it back upwards for 25mm or 1". It is however possible to put it lower.

Tighten the bolt with an Allen key.

Put the boot base on the console.

Slide the right under side of the boot base in the console.

Slide in the complete boot base.

The boot base is now all the way down.

Put the right side of the boot base in the supports of the console.

Gently pull the left side upwards till the base is against the clips.

Move the boot base upwards till it is locked in the clips.

Move the top of the boot base upwards so it is sitting against the console.

Done!

Put the shifter in reverse and in 6th gear.
The leather of the shifter boot can't be too tight in either of the two positions.
If that is the case, you have to lower the position of the shifter.
